The training is addressed to those who would like to be acquainted with OpenOffice Calc spreadsheet to such an extent which enables to use the program competently for professional purposes.
During the training the participants will be familiarized with Calc document structure designed for creating computational databases of any kind, attractive-looking and clear reports and analyses.
There are also discussed the methods of saving Calc documents so they can be opened in MS Excel spreadsheet.
The trainees perform simple calculations in sample lists and apply basic computational formulas. Exercises are done on simple tables with the use of different forms of number formatting as well as simple conditional formatting. Data sorting and filtering have been implemented to the course, which allows to work on larger data sets.
OpenOffice Calc spreadsheet is a perfect tool, which provides an alternative for MS Excel. This application is user-friendly. A highly appealing feature of the program is the possibility of opening and saving files compatible with other formats. Calc reads and saves files, for instance, as .xls format. With this solution, the issue of having multiple applications for different file formats does not exist.
The training is delivered in the form of computer workshops. Each participant, at their own computer station, performs exercises according to the lecturer’s tips. The training topics are presented in the form of practical exercises. In order to improve the effectiveness of knowledge acquisition, the system of combining the lecture part and exercises has been introduced.

After completing the course, each participant can contact the lecturer in order to solve issues which bother them. The contact with the trainer is free-of-charge exclusively for our participants.
The training has the form of computer workshops.
Each training participant performs exercises at his or her computer station in accordance with the trainer’s instructions.
The trainees have their own computer stations at their disposal.
One computer is occupied by one participant.
So as to acquire knowledge more effectively, we have implemented a system of blending both the theoretical and practical parts.
All the training topics are also presented in the form of practical exercises.
The trainings in the basics of OpenOffice Calc spreadsheet are organized in small training groups (up to 10 people).
The training in the basics of OpenOffice Calc spreadsheet also comes in the form of a closed and dedicated system for groups of at least 4 people. Such a training is delivered in our training rooms, in the Client’s headquarters or any other location within Poland. AkKom Computer Academy offers mobile training facilities (laptops), which permits the training to be conducted in any place chosen by the Client.
