The goal of the training is to acquire skills in creating schedules rapidly and efficiently in MS Project. The training participants will gain practical skills in making a project plan, with defined time frames of particular tasks and project completion date. They will learn how to add resources to tasks, which are crucial for a project, and how to create dependencies between tasks, which will support schedule tracking. Schedule analysis and critical path methods allow to shorten the project duration significantly. With the gained skills, the training participants will be able to have effective impact on the duration of particular tasks.
After the training, the participants will be able to:
- Create a proper project schedule,
- Create Gantt chart, significant for every project visualization,
- Insert tasks to project,
- Create relationships between tasks and define task duration properly,
- Determine when the project ends,
- Affect the end date of a project and indicate important project tasks,
- Accelerate or delay certain tasks,
- Allocate resources to project and define their costs,
- Create project analysis.
The training is designed for those who would like to learn how to create a good schedule with MS Project program. The training is also useful for people involved in controlling project plans and those who are responsible for creating project schedules.
