The aim of the training is to gain knowledge in the field of cost estimation of construction, installation, electrical works and others. The training is designed for people, who are beginning to estimate costs and would like to learn how to prepare cost estimates.
The training consists of two parts:
- Theoretical, within which the principles of costing and legal basis are presented. We discuss the basic concepts regarding cost estimates, their methods and types as well as calculating prices, rates and surcharges and creating individual analyses. During the theoretical lecture, the participants will be familiarized with determining the Common Procurement Vocabulary codes, making technical specification and functional-utility programs. The most crucial theoretical part includes being acquainted with and solidifying the rules of creating the bill of quantities as well as quantity survey.
- Practical classes, during which the participants will be introduced to costing program and they can turn the already gained knowledge into practice. The rules of creating cost estimates and bills of quantities are discussed. The trainees insert transport expenses and scaffolding work costs, prepare and make printouts as well as they learn how to export and import them. They are also acquainted with inserting CPV codes.
Benefits for the participants:
- Gaining the profession of construction cost estimator, improving professional qualifications, increasing the quality of work performance.
- A person who has received the training, is able not only to prepare cost estimates but also to check, complete and change them or can also become a technical consultant in a design office.
Taking into consideration our participants’ needs, we can work on several costing programs: Rodos, Norma, Zuzia.
The training aids are delivered to the participants in the form of:
- Script - adapted to the subject of the training,
- „Exercises on cost estimation”,
- A set of practical exercises on a cost estimation program sent to the Client’s email.
After the training, the participants can ask the lecturer for any advice regarding cost estimation. The contact is free of charge - up to 12 months after completing the training.
