The training acquaints the participants with fundamentals of cost estimation supporting application from basic functions describing the program interface to costing positions insertion and modification, connected with prints preparation.
The basic course is covering fundamentals of independent cost estimation, including:
- Costing positions inserting methods, form and construction of norm catalogs available on the market,
- RMS norm insertion and correction by changing their consumption and prices,
- Surcharges defining on cost estimate level and its elements (sections),
- Discussion on recent legislations affecting works valuation, scope and printing methods adjusting to applicable law, defining common procurement vocabulary (CPV codes) and number of specification - having a major impact on cost estimate layout in public procurement,
- Non-catalog positions constructing,
- Sources of non-catalog works valuation research.
Why it is worth to participate in our trainings?
- We are offering the fundamentals of construction engineering knowledge,
- Each participant receives training script with drawings helping to understand costing actions included,
- Each participant gets to know the rules of electronic costing and legislations regulating cost estimation,
- We learn how to prepare professional cost estimates, which are an important condition for success in tenders,
During the training each participant have to solve several separate exercises, which helps in understanding the way costing software works.
Our trainers are practitioners - they not only know how to use the software, but they are also using that knowledge in their everyday work as cost estimators.
The training is delivered in the form of computer workshops , practical exercises and lectures on law also realized in the form of practical exercises.
Training materials are given to participants in the form of:
- Script - adapted to the subject of training
- Practical exercises on costing
After the training, participants may contact the trainer for any costing advice. Contact with the trainer is free of charge - up to 3 months after the training.
